Riots if euro fails, Britain warns

I believe that the financial system should die before it can be reborn. Of course, millions will die.

” Embassies told to make contingency plans for expatriates
November 26, 2011

British embassies in the eurozone have been told to draw up plans to help British expatriates through the collapse of the single currency, amid renewed fears for Italy and Spain.

As the Italian government struggled to borrow and Spain considered seeking an international bailout, British ministers privately warned that the breakup of the euro, once almost unthinkable, is now increasingly plausible.

Diplomats are preparing to help Britons abroad through a banking collapse and even riots arising from the crisis.

The Treasury confirmed this month that contingency planning for a collapse was under way, and a senior minister has now disclosed the extent of the government’s concern, saying Britain is planning on the basis that a euro collapse is just a matter of time.

“It’s in our interests that they keep playing for time because that gives us more time to prepare,” the minister told The Daily Telegraph.

Foreign and Commonwealth Office instructions to embassies and consulates request contingency planning for a currency collapse that could leave Britons unable to access bank accounts or even withdraw cash, and facing scenarios such as rioting and social unrest.

Greece has seen outbreaks of civil disorder as it struggles with huge debts.

British officials say similar scenes cannot be ruled out in other nations if the euro collapses.

The EU treaties that created the euro contain no provision for members to leave. If eurozone governments defaulted on debts, European banks that held their bonds face collapse. Some analysts say such an event would risk the collapse of the entire financial system, leaving banks unable to return money to retail depositors and destroying companies dependent on bank credit. ”

Last Christmas (I Gave You My Cash)

wall street stock exchange
london city playing games

here’s your ticket, you’re getting served
a dose of the medicine you really need
no more need for greed
you really need to heed
these people out there on the streets
staying occupied until we’re really free
from the banks and the villains who been running the show
banksters business we let them know
cash cash bang bang money money ching ching
fat man in a bank in the back pulling strings
of the puppet in a government role
now ask yourself who really got control
last christmas they took all the cash
they give it to the banks
and said ‘thanks for the crash’
double dealing treacherous villainous pigs
give us back our 700 billion quid
stop cutting back on the things that are real
like hospitals, schools and meals on wheels
think of the grannies, think of the kids
what they gonna do? where they gonna live?
when’s it gonna end? what’s it gonna take?
to break free from the prison of the interest rate?

goldman sachs, jp morgan
rothschild family sitting on a fortune
man on the street can’t pay back rent
when all of the money in the place been spent
to bail out banks for the trouble they cause
selling derivatives and breaking trade laws
in the middle of financial war
ain’t it time that we even the score
take the money back put it in a safe place quick
’cause banks ain’t safe or sound they’re bullsh1t

have a lot of fun with public funds
you must think we’re f**king dumb
living underneath the thumb
of the invisible hand of supply an demand
when there’s only one law, that’s the law of the land
common sense not common theft
you keep on taking til there’s nothing left
people won’t accept, we got to stop the debt
take back this country from the lords of death
think of the grannies, think of the kids
what they gonna do? where they gonne live?
when’s it gonna end? what’s it gonna take?
to break free from the prison of the interest rate?

Lending our money to banks so they can lend it back to us with interest

So true, so true, Old Holborn.

Emphasis in red are mine.

” … wonder what the hell George Osborne is up to when he declares that he has constructed a Government package of £20 BILLION of our money (extracted by force, lest we forget) to hand to the banks to hand back to us with added interest. Now before my readers decide to don their tin foil hats, I am not suggesting that Gideon is about to start building gas chambers and rounding up undesirables to work for free for major donors of the Conservative Party, I am certain it is purely coincidence that the unemployed will now be forced to work for Sainsburys or Tesco in order to receive their benefits from er… the State

As a Libertarian, I see no role for the State in lending our money to banks so they can lend it back to us with interest. I see no role for the State in building houses, cutting our hair, cleaning our teeth or doing anything more than protecting the borders and upholding the law. It angers me that our Government, with unlimited access to our money, has decided to become a Corporation in its own right. The banking scandal showed us the very worst of Corporate and Government interference where losses were socialised and profits were privatised, so that they could be taxed and returned to the exchequer. You and I are still underwriting the toxic debt that has not gone away, whilst “friends of Government” can award themselves huge bonuses from gambling with our money, safe in the knowledge they cannot lose because they are “too big to fail”.

Wednesday will see a million public sector workers strike to maintain their slice of the Government cake, safe in the knowledge that the Government will always come up with the goods if pushed hard enough, (something they learned from the bankers no doubt) and ultimately, the bill will simply be handed back to you and I to fund, as per usual whilst we struggle to find the extra money demanded by those who are there “to serve Government” instead of us, the people. I’m tired of underwriting every whim of the Politicians who only pay attention to Lobbyists, their corporate backers or Union vested interests. I’m fed up with watching them get richer by plundering our wallets to ensure the mythical “eternal growth” they desire is fabricated in front of our very eyes and I’m sick to death of being told “it is in my interest”. It isn’t. It is in the interest of those who should serve us, not fleece us. I have no problem with wealth but I do have a problem with my wealth being extracted to fund Government ventures that it really has no business in undertaking. By handing free labour to supermarkets, the Government has declared war on the hundreds of thousands of small shopkeepers we all rely on. By handing our money to the banks, the Government hopes to re inflate the housing market, costing us ever more in interest, whilst it sits back and watches the Stamp Duty taxes roll in and the banks get richer.

It is time Government, whilst financed by us worked FOR us, instead of against us. Rather than protecting us from monopolistic corporations, it has decided to join them and now sees us as mere consumers of Government whilst holding us over a barrel to pay for it all.

When Government and Corporations get together, history shows us that no one is safe. “

EU: £730 per year per household

EU: No democracy. No accountability, No choice. No referendum. No food left on my table.

” BRITAIN poured a colossal £18.5billion into EU coffers last year – the equivalent of more than £50m a day.

The staggering figures – £730 for every British household over the 12 months – were revealed yesterday in the Government’s annual accounts. “

Bradley Manning: First hearing 2011-12-16

Messanger to be tried. Message to be forgotten.

Almost-forgotten US victim of the Police State will face a military hearing after 17 month in captivity.

Maurice Kirk: reason for remand NOT stated

Here’s a definition of ‘Political Prisoner’.

Emphasis in red are mine.

” Former Police Officer finds lack of document authorising remand to prison quite sinister

The former police officer also writes:

In my time as a prison officer: If he was in the custody of HMP staff, then when the magistrates or judge ordered him to be remanded (for whatever reason); his personal Prison File (much like a hospital patient’s file) would have have been anotated (by the prison officer who received him into the dock (prison custody in effect), gave him a rub-down-search and supervised his conduct in the dock and/or witness box) the date of remand, the reason why, the remand time (duration) and  a date for his next appearence (production) in court; or a DTBF (Date to be fixed) if he was not convicted.

Nothing adds up sensibly here. It is an incredulous situation when a prisoner does not know why he is being held in custody or for how long!

If what I’m questoning here is justified – then we certainly are living in a Police State and already governed by a pure Dictatorship! (How long has this been going on?)

“If there is no documentation to be produced, then Maurice is enduring false imprisonment – a criminal offence! It needs to be established; under what authority, he is being made a prisoner. All of this suggests to me that he is a political prisoner!

The IRA were political prisoners but they were not treated as badly as it appears that Maurice (and previously Norman Scarth) is being treated – even when they went ‘on the blanket’ (refusing to wear their prison clothes) and spreading their excrement on the walls, floors and ceilings of their cells, FACT! I know for sure, I was there, we had IRA prisoners in HMP Winchester in the 1980s.

Maximum publicity must be created to reveal to the public, if no evidence for incarceration is forthcoming, that he is being unlawfully held in custody!
